Going into the break like…

Love. This. Is there a better fuck you to the face than hitting your haters with a well timed Kermit tea sipping meme? Go ahead, I’ll wait.

The trade rumors. The position change. The doubters. Cutch has finally put it all behind him, and he’s tearing the absolute tits off the baseball. In less than two months time, McCutchen has gone from a career-worst .200 BA/.271 OBP/.370 SLG to a .294 BA/.380 OBP/.528 SLG, which has included mashing 17 dongs and batting in 50 RBIs. On top of that, he’s no longer a liability on defense.

I can go on and on about how much better Cutch is playing statistically than he has over the past year and change, but the truth of the matter is, he’s back. The only problem – we may very well be witnessing the end of an era. All I know is if McCutchen gets dealt here within the next month, it’s going to suck. A lot. But at the same time, don’t underestimate this dipshit organization’s decision making ability to dump the face of of the franchise so they can save a few bucks when they’re only seven games back from 1st place in a division that’s still very much up for grabs.

Keep sipping that tea, Cutch. I hate this organization, too.
