Irvington, NY – A Greenburgh man had heroin on him when he was caught selling marijuana to two Irvington teenagers on Wednesday, police said.

Dante Taylor, 26, was selling 28 grams of marijuana to a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy in the village around 3:05 p.m., Irvington police said.

Members of the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force interrupted the drug deal and seized the marijuana, as well as two bags of heroin, from Taylor, police said.

Taylor was arrested and charged with felony counts of second- and third-degree criminal sale of marijuana, as well as a misdemeanor count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Taylor was arraigned in Irvington Village Court and is due back on Feb. 6. He was taken to the Westchester County jail on $2,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond, which he has since posted.

The two teenagers were released to the custody of their parents.

Wow. I can honestly say we’ve finally discovered somebody that looks worse post-basketball career than Steve Francis.

A pretty astonishing feat in itself, if you ask me. I literally can’t believe the guy in the mugshot above is the same person in the picture below.

There’s no way that guy in the mugshot is the former promising McDonald’s All-American, top-40 recruit that had an underachieving collegiate career at Pitt, is it? I get that the NBA wasn’t in the cards for Taylor after he left Pitt, but Jesus Christ. That guy in the mugshot looks like a man that hasn’t done anything physically in the past five years besides fire up some dank and satisfy his munchies with double quarter pounders with cheese. Talk about letting yourself go. Even Rob Kardashian would be impressed.
